ONE-TO-ONE Pitch Coaching

Want a little one-to-one time to focus on your writing? This 2.5-hour, one-to-one coaching intensive will give you the nudge you need to develop pitches and put in place a pitching process that feels second nature and, ultimately, score you a byline. This coaching is ideal for nonfiction writers at any level looking to establish a regular pitching practice. Pitch coaching might be for you if:

  • You like a little hand-holding (me too!) and find your artistry is best served when you bounce ideas off of a person who has a creative ear.

  • You have ideas— all of the ideas! — but not a clue about how to sell them.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • You bring the story ideas, and we develop ten customized pitch emails.

  • A list of recommended publications and editors that may suit the pieces you want to pitch.

  • Two pitch templates for future use!

Let’s discover how we can work together!

Caroline helped me see the forest through the trees. She took pitching from a mysterious process in which I had no control and provided me with time-tested tools and techniques for communicating my story ideas clearly and effectively. Her enthusiasm is contagious and her recommendations are always spot on. Take her class if you ever have the opportunity. It’s a game-changer.
